Why do people think science is able to explain God or disprove him?

we are human and God created knowledge, he can do anything, and he created the ability to think so who the heck do we think we are thinking that we can scientifically define God or question his motives. Please what a joke. Carbon Dating is a joke too. How can we explain or disprove religion or creationism by carbon dating. How pathetic.. If God created the world the mountains and trees, then he quite possibly just put a mountain there fully grown. If he got out a carbon dating machine right then and there it probably would have said the mountain was millions of years old but yet he just created it like a second ago. Like who are we to think we can explain a being that can create anything he wants to...Gee are we really that dumb?
