How did New England treat Indians?

I am going to do a debate on "resolved; the New Englanders treated the Indians fairly". I know that for the most part, they treated them very BADLY, but since i am on the affirmative side, I don't have much of a choice because i am supposed to say that they treated them WELL. However, I can't find ANYTHING about how they treated them well, except for maybe missionaries (and even then, they shot their heads off if they didn't convert). If you could shed some insight on the subject (on how they were treated WELL), I would greatly appreciate it.
