Americans, did you have a good reason to be thankful for on Thanksgiving?

I had a good reason: my one contact, Indy, who has virtually changed my life 180 degrees. His kindness is such that all the other things, nasty and bad, seem small and petty. That is a good reason to be thankful for! What were your reasons?
