What the frick just happened?

I've had a crush on this guy I worked with for years. When we worked together we would talk for the longest time about everything from movies, to politics. He's one the first guy that I had soo much in common with. He was married so, I didn't do anything about it, and nothing happened. A few years ago I ran into him, and saw no ring, we talked a little (Saw him at a gas station), but nothing. So another year goes by and I find his email address. I email him, and within two days I hear from him (YAY) I respond back Saying (cause he asked) "No I'm not married, and have no time for dating (because of school, and my nephew)" I also asked about his personal life "How's the wife? Kids?" Just to make sure I was right that he wasn't married anymore, BUT at the end of the email I said "Would love to hang out, call me when your free" But, I haven't heard from him since!!! I did mention that I graduated (Implying that I was now free). So my cousin say's I might have killed it with the "no time for dating comment" Did I? I hope not! If I did how do I fix it without being desperate? I already sent a email to him and 3 other people. (My cousin is my love genie, she thought it would be a good idea to send him one) Help! I like this guy!!!I'm 28 and this is only the second guy in my life that I'm really attracted to!!! The first broke my heart, by dropping off the face of the earth because I didn't sleep with him. (I don't believe in before marriage) BTW Is that a turn off for guys? -I asked this before and got little reply. Please help!!
