AFL Victoria VS the rest of Australia?

Provided it was the two best possible sides, considering injuries and suspensions, and they were having a red hot crack, then it should be a great game. I just worry that, like with State of Origin in the 80s and 90s, players will be pulling out last minute with 'injuries' so they can have a week off and not risk injury for the rest of the season. AFL State of Origin will never be the showcase that NRL is because there is no higher level of competition than the AFL Grand Final. If there were proper international competitions, where a national side was to be picked, this would serve as a selection match. But, as it is being promoted, this is an exhibition game, and will be played and treated as such. Victoria should win.
