Which hoover is best for picking up pet/cat hair?

hi can anyone reccomend the best hoover for picking up cat/pet hair, i used to have a henry but found that wasnt picking up my cats hair, i have since bought a russel hobbs pet cyclonic 2000 which was fine at first but seems to have lost the power, just wondered if anyone out there had a hoover that does the job, thanks bev
