I have a compaq laptop.when i play songs the audio is fine but when i play movie the audio is very low.plz hlp

The dynamic range is greater in movies, meaning that the quiet part is really quiet and the loud part is very loud. Power dvd has an option in the advanced tab of the sound properties that may help remedy this.
