Does spanish society has a higher problem with racism then other western country?

I saw a statistic from the middle of the 90�s where aperantly 40 per cent of the spaniards wouldnt marry a gypsy on any cirstance.Now more then 10 years later I read articles about Spain has beeng one of the most liberal,tolerant countries on earth where more then around 70 per cent of them agree gay marriageWhile I m not saying gay marriage has anything to do with racism,I would ume a country where most people are educated enaf to belive gay marriage is ok,are educated enaf to belive interacial marriage it s okey.So my question would be if Spain is still more racist then other developed countries like Germany,Holand,etc or it has change since those statistic more then it would have been expected
